  1. Lead and oversee the design and development of microprocessor RTL designs for AMD's next generation computing devices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, verification engineers, and physical designers to ensure successful implementation of designs.
  3. Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in RTL design to contribute to the development of high-performance and power-efficient microprocessor designs.
  4. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality and efficiency of designs.
  5. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve and innovate AMD's microprocessor designs.
  6. Develop and maintain design specifications, documentation, and design methodologies.
  7. Troubleshoot and debug issues in RTL designs to ensure timely and accurate delivery of high-quality designs.
  8. Mentor and guide junior team members to foster their growth and development.
  9. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure smooth integration of third-party IPs and technologies into the design.
  10. Proactively identify and address potential design issues and propose solutions to improve the overall performance and functionality of the microprocessor design.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Rtl Design For Microprocessors, Preferably In A High-Performance Computing Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience With Verilog, Systemverilog, And Other Hardware Description Languages.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Microarchitecture Concepts And Experience With Microarchitecture Development.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Delivering High-Quality Rtl Designs For Complex Microprocessors, Including Tapeout And Post-Silicon Debug.
