- Lead and manage a team of RTL design engineers to deliver high quality and efficient designs for AMD's next generation products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, verification, and physical design, to define and implement design goals and requirements.
- Drive the RTL design process, including setting design methodology, tools, and flow, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting growth and development.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and communicate progress and issues to upper management.
- Identify and mitigate risks and bottlenecks in the design process to ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in RTL design and implement new techniques and methodologies to improve team efficiency and productivity.
- Perform RTL code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and IP providers to integrate their RTL into AMD's designs.
- Act as a subject matter expert on RTL design, providing guidance and support to other teams within the company as needed.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In Rtl Design And Verification, With At Least 3 Years Of Experience In A Lead Role.
Extensive Knowledge Of Digital Design Methodologies And Tools, Including Verilog, Systemverilog, And Simulation Tools.
Proven Experience In Leading Complex Design Projects From Concept To Tape-Out, Including Timing Closure And Physical Design Considerations.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Mentor Junior Designers.
