  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis of new inventions and technologies to determine their patentability.
  2. Work closely with engineers and other team members to identify and document potential patentable inventions.
  3. Draft patent applications and responses to office actions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  4. Collaborate with legal counsel to review and revise patent applications to ensure compliance with patent laws and regulations.
  5. Conduct patent searches to assess the novelty and potential infringement of existing patents.
  6. Monitor and track patent deadlines and ensure timely filing of patent applications.
  7. Communicate with patent examiners and other stakeholders to address any issues or questions related to patent applications.
  8. Assist in the development of patent strategies and provide technical input to support patent portfolio management.
  9. Stay updated on the latest developments in patent laws and regulations, and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized records of patent applications and related documents.
  11. Participate in patent review meetings and provide technical expertise to support decision-making.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential patent infringement and provide technical support for litigation proceedings, if necessary.
  13. Act as a technical liaison between the engineering team and legal counsel, providing technical input and expertise as needed.
  14. Train and educate team members on patent laws and regulations, as well as company patent processes and procedures.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of confidential information related to patent applications and processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field, Such As Electrical, Mechanical, Or Computer Engineering.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience Working In A Patent Or Intellectual Property Role, Preferably In The Semiconductor Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Patent Laws And Regulations, As Well As Experience With Patent Prosecution And Portfolio Management.

  • Strong Technical Background And Understanding Of Computer Architecture, Microprocessor Design, And Other Relevant Technologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
