  1. Design and implement physical layout of microprocessor designs using industry-leading VLSI tools and methodologies.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the physical design is optimized for performance, power, and area.
  3. Conduct detailed analyses of physical design and provide recommendations for improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain design flows and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve physical design issues in a timely manner.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in microprocessor technology.
  7. Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical skills and contribute to their professional growth.
  8. Participate in design reviews and provide valuable inputs to enhance the overall quality of microprocessor designs.
  9. Work closely with the verification team to ensure design correctness and functionality.
  10. Drive continuous improvement in physical design processes and methodologies to meet project goals.
  11. Collaborate with the research and development team to explore new design techniques and technologies.
  12. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.
  13. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality results within the specified deadlines.
  14. Maintain accurate documentation of all design activities and results.
  15. Adhere to the company's code of conduct and ethics and promote a culture of professionalism and integrity.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Physical Design Of Microprocessors At A Semiconductor Company.

  • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Physical Design Tools Such As Cadence Encounter, Synopsys Icc, And Mentor Graphics Calibre.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Vlsi Design Methodologies, Including Floorplanning, Timing Closure, Power Optimization, And Physical Verification.

  • Experience With Advanced Process Nodes (E.g. 7Nm, 5Nm) And Low-Power Design Techniques Is Preferred.
