Deliver a Product Test Solution, consisting of hardware, software, and test content to achieve the cost and quality requirements of the product. Complete post-silicon characterization, product definition and performance optimization and enable internal validation team and external customers through the delivery of prototype samples. Optimize the overall product cost structure to maximize AMD profitability. This can include, but is not limited to optimization of product yield, test hardware costs, and test costs. Work with internal teams and external partners/customers to define and release an optimal mix of SOC product variants to meet customer needs while achieving internal manufacturing and cost requirements. Work with internal AMD Operations and external manufacturing vendors to ensure the capability and capacity is in place to support the product launch and high-volume ramp of a new processor.
