Welcome to AMD, a global leader in the semiconductor industry. We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager to join our team as the Manager of GPU Platform and Manufacturing Support. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the platform development and manufacturing support for our cutting-edge Graphics Processing Units (GPUs).As a Manager at AMD, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch and continuous improvement of our GPUs.   1. Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure efficient and effective development and manufacturing of GPUs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute strategic plans for GPU platform development and manufacturing support.
  3. Set clear goals and expectations for the team and provide regular feedback and coaching to support their growth and development.
  4. Monitor and manage the progress of GPU platform development and manufacturing support projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners to drive successful outcomes for AMD's GPU products.
  6. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in GPU technology to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  7. Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure high-quality and reliable GPUs.
  8. Manage and optimize resources to maximize productivity and efficiency in GPU platform development and manufacturing support.
  9. Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on project progress and identify any potential issues or risks.
  10. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and continuous learning within the team.
  11. Perform performance evaluations and make recommendations for promotions or disciplinary action when necessary.
  12. Represent AMD at industry events and conferences to showcase our GPU technology and build relationships with potential partners and customers.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all aspects of GPU platform development and manufacturing support.
