  1. Develop and implement automated test systems for embedded processors, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.

  3. Create and maintain automated test plans, scripts, and tools to support product development and test execution.
  4. Continuously improve and optimize existing automation processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop automation solutions that meet those needs.
  6. Conduct regular reviews and audits of automated tests to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technologies and tools.
  8. Mentor and guide other engineers in automation best practices and techniques.
  9. Take ownership of automation projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on automation progress, challenges, and solutions.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Embedded Processor Architectures: A Lead Automation Engineer At Amd Should Possess In-Depth Understanding Of Various Embedded Processor Architectures Such As Arm, X86, Risc-V, Etc. They Should Be Able To Design And Develop Automation Solutions For These Architectures.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Scripting: A Strong Grasp Of Programming Languages Like C, C++, Python, And Scripting Languages Like Perl And Bash Is Imperative For This Role. The Engineer Should Be Able To Write Efficient And Scalable Code To Automate Testing Processes.

  • Experience With Hardware Design And Debug Tools: A Lead Automation Engineer Should Have Hands-On Experience With Hardware Design And Debug Tools Such As Jtag, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Etc. This Will Help Them To Debug And Troubleshoot Issues During The Development Process.

  • Knowledge Of Software Testing Methodologies: The Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Software Testing Methodologies Such As Unit Testing, Integration Testing, And System Testing. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Automated Test Cases To Ensure The Quality Of The Embedded Processor Development.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Lead Automation Engineer, Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Drive The Project Forward. The Engineer Should Be Able To Mentor And Guide Team Members To Achieve Project Goals And Deliver High-Quality Results.
