Extensive Knowledge Of Embedded Processor Architectures: A Lead Automation Engineer At Amd Should Possess In-Depth Understanding Of Various Embedded Processor Architectures Such As Arm, X86, Risc-V, Etc. They Should Be Able To Design And Develop Automation Solutions For These Architectures.
Proficiency In Programming Languages And Scripting: A Strong Grasp Of Programming Languages Like C, C++, Python, And Scripting Languages Like Perl And Bash Is Imperative For This Role. The Engineer Should Be Able To Write Efficient And Scalable Code To Automate Testing Processes.
Experience With Hardware Design And Debug Tools: A Lead Automation Engineer Should Have Hands-On Experience With Hardware Design And Debug Tools Such As Jtag, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Etc. This Will Help Them To Debug And Troubleshoot Issues During The Development Process.
Knowledge Of Software Testing Methodologies: The Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Software Testing Methodologies Such As Unit Testing, Integration Testing, And System Testing. They Should Be Able To Design And Implement Automated Test Cases To Ensure The Quality Of The Embedded Processor Development.
