- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for next-generation microprocessor designs.
- Conduct thorough analysis of micro-architecture and RTL designs to identify potential improvements and optimizations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in micro-architecture and RTL design to ensure AMD remains at the forefront of technology.
- Work closely with verification and validation teams to ensure design correctness and functionality.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of micro-architecture and RTL designs for future reference.
- Identify and troubleshoot design issues, and provide timely and effective solutions.

Experience With High-Speed Digital Design: A Strong Understanding Of High-Speed Digital Design Principles And Experience With Industry Standard Tools And Methodologies Is Essential For This Role.
Expertise In Micro-Architecture Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Micro-Architecture Design Concepts And Experience In Designing Complex Micro-Architectures For High-Performance Computing Systems.
Proficiency In Rtl Coding: A Strong Background In Rtl Coding And Experience With Verilog And Systemverilog Is Required. Experience With Low-Power Design Techniques And Knowledge Of Industry Standard Verification Methodologies Is Preferred.
Familiarity With Infinity Fabric Technology: Familiarity With Amd's Infinity Fabric Technology, Including Its Design Principles And Implementation, Is Highly Preferred. Experience With Other High-Speed Interconnect Technologies Such As Pcie And Nvlink Is Also Beneficial.
Team Player And Strong Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Be A Team Player With Excellent Communication Skills, Able To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Complex Design Concepts And Ideas.
