  1. Collaborate with the GPU cluster development team to understand the product requirements and performance goals.
  2. Design and implement performance optimization strategies for GPU clusters.
  3. Conduct performance analysis and identify areas for improvement in the GPU architecture.
  4. Develop and execute test plans to validate the performance of the GPU clusters.
  5. Work closely with hardware and software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate new techniques and technologies to improve GPU cluster performance.
  7. Communicate performance results and recommendations to project stakeholders.
  8. Monitor and track performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
  9. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback for performance optimization.
  10. Document performance analysis and optimization techniques for future reference.
  11. Train and mentor junior team members on GPU cluster performance optimization.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Understanding Of Parallel Computing And Gpu Architectures: A Successful Gpu Cluster Performance Attainment Engineer At Amd Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Parallel Computing Principles, Including Gpu Architectures, To Optimize Performance On Gpu Clusters.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Tools: Candidates Should Have A Strong Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, And Cuda, Along With Experience Working With Performance Analysis And Debugging Tools.

  • Experience In Designing And Optimizing Gpu Cluster Architectures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience In Designing And Optimizing Gpu Cluster Architectures, Including Hardware And Software Components.

  • Knowledge Of High-Performance Computing (Hpc) And Machine Learning Applications: As An Amd Gpu Cluster Performance Attainment Engineer, One Must Have A Solid Understanding Of Hpc And Machine Learning Applications And How To Optimize Them For Performance On Gpu Clusters.

  • Ability To Analyze And Troubleshoot Performance Issues: A Critical Part Of This Role Is To Identify And Troubleshoot Performance Bottlenecks On Gpu Clusters. Candidates Should Be Able To Analyze Data And Identify Potential Issues, Along With Proposing And Implementing Solutions To Improve Performance.
