  1. Oversee and manage all financial reporting and accounting processes for the organization.
  2. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  3. Provide guidance and support to the accounting team in day-to-day operations and complex accounting issues.
  4. Coordinate and review financial statements, reports, and analyses to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
  5. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  7. Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns and other financial reports.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
  9. Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  10. Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff, encouraging their professional growth and development.
  11. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  12. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
  13. Communicate financial results and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders.
  14. Participate in financial audits and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
  15. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations and standards.
  16. Represent the organization in financial meetings, conferences, and other events.
  17. Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals as needed.
  18. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure security of financial data.
  19. Identify and mitigate financial risks and implement controls to prevent fraud.
  20. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Strong Educational Background In Accounting Or Finance Is Crucial For A Financial Accounting Manager At Amd. This Will Ensure A Thorough Understanding Of Accounting Principles And Financial Reporting Standards.

  • Certified Public Accountant (Cpa) Designation: Having A Cpa Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Expertise And Knowledge In The Field Of Accounting. It Also Shows A Commitment To Professional Development And Staying Up-To-Date With Industry Regulations.

  • Previous Experience In Financial Accounting: Amd Would Prefer A Candidate Who Has At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Financial Accounting, Preferably In A Managerial Role. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Has A Solid Understanding Of Financial Reporting Processes And Can Effectively Manage A Team.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Financial Accounting Manager At Amd Needs To Be Able To Analyze Complex Financial Data And Identify Any Discrepancies Or Errors. They Should Also Be Able To Find Solutions To Any Accounting Issues That May Arise.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities: As A Manager, Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role. The Financial Accounting Manager Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Accountants And Communicating Financial Information To Stakeholders, So Effective Communication And Leadership Are Crucial.
