Job Qualifications
  • Strong Technical Skills In Embedded Systems And Firmware Development: Candidates Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Embedded Systems And Firmware Development, Including Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As C And Assembly.

  • Familiarity With Microcontroller Architectures And Development Tools: Experience With Microcontroller Architectures And Development Tools, Such As Arm Cortex-M And Keil Uvision, Is Essential For This Role.

  • Knowledge Of Real-Time Operating Systems (Rtos): Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of Real-Time Operating Systems, Such As Freertos Or Threadx, And How To Develop Firmware That Can Run On Them.

  • Ability To Debug And Troubleshoot Complex Hardware And Software Issues: As A Firmware Engineering Intern, Candidates Will Be Expected To Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Debug And Troubleshoot Complex Hardware And Software Issues.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment And Effectively Communicate Ideas And Solutions Is Crucial For Success In This Role, As Interns Will Be Working Closely With Other Engineers And Teams Within Amd.
