  1. Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives that align with the company's values and goals.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert on employee relations matters and provide guidance to managers and employees.
  4. Investigate and resolve employee complaints and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  5. Work closely with HR Business Partners to address employee relations issues and provide support in performance management and conflict resolution.
  6. Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics to educate employees and managers.
  7. Monitor and analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to leadership.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee relations.
  9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in employee relations and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  11. Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  12. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to employee relations issues.
  13. Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure company policies and practices are compliant.
  14. Assist in the development and execution of employee engagement and retention strategies.
  15. Build and maintain positive relationships with employees and managers to promote a healthy and supportive workplace culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Labor Laws And Regulations: A Qualified Employee Relations Program Specialist At Amd Should Possess In-Depth Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Labor Laws, As Well As Employment Regulations To Ensure Compliance And Minimize Legal Risk.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of An Employee Relations Program Specialist Involves Managing And Resolving Conflicts Between Employees And Management. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Therefore Essential To Effectively Liaise With Different Stakeholders And Build Positive Working Relationships.

  • Experience In Employee Relations And Conflict Resolution: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have Prior Experience In Employee Relations And Conflict Resolution, Preferably In A Large Organization. This Includes Handling Disciplinary Actions, Grievances, And Other Employee-Related Issues.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: An Employee Relations Program Specialist Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Situations, Identify Underlying Issues, And Develop Effective Solutions. Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills Are Crucial To Effectively Address Employee Relations Issues Within The Organization.
