- Conduct electromagnetic (EM) and infrared (IR) analysis on AMD's products to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential EM/IR issues and develop solutions.
- Utilize specialized tools and techniques to perform accurate and detailed EM/IR analysis.
- Create and maintain EM/IR analysis reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in EM/IR analysis techniques and tools.
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations to improve product performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any EM/IR related issues that arise during product development.
- Develop and implement testing methodologies for EM/IR analysis.
- Train and mentor junior EM/IR analysis engineers on best practices and techniques.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure EM/IR compliance of components used in AMD's products.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for EM/IR analysis processes.
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines during EM/IR analysis activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on EM/IR analysis progress and findings.
- Act as a subject matter expert on EM/IR analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of new EM/IR analysis techniques and tools.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Electromagnetic Interference (Emi) And Interference Response (Ir) Analysis
Proficiency In Emi/Ir Analysis Tools Such As Ansys, Cst, Or Hfss
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Emi/Ir, Such As Fcc And Cispr
Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
