  1. Conduct performance validation tests on CPUs to ensure the highest level of performance for AMD processors.
  2. Analyze and interpret test results to identify potential areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with other engineers and teams to develop and implement strategies for improving CPU performance.
  4. Design and develop testing methodologies and tools to accurately measure and evaluate CPU performance.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CPU technology to continuously improve validation processes.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or inconsistencies in performance testing.
  7. Document and report on performance validation test results.
  8. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on potential performance bottlenecks.
  9. Work closely with software development teams to understand and optimize code for maximum CPU performance.
  10. Communicate and present performance data and analysis to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Understanding Of Computer Architecture And Microprocessor Design

  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field

  • Experience With Performance Validation Tools And Methodologies, Such As Performance Counters, Benchmarks, And Simulation Models

  • Knowledge Of Programming Languages, Such As C/C++ And Assembly

  • Previous Experience In Performance Validation For High-Performance Cpus, Preferably In The Semiconductor Industry
