  1. Design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge photonics-based hardware for next-generation products.
  2. Utilize expertise in photonics, integrated circuit design, and packaging technologies to drive continuous advancement of high-performance computing solutions.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of hardware with overall product strategy.
  4. Conduct research and analysis to identify new technologies and techniques for improving hardware performance.
  5. Work with external partners and vendors to source necessary components and materials.
  6. Conduct feasibility studies and develop prototypes to evaluate new hardware concepts.
  7. Evaluate and troubleshoot hardware designs to identify and resolve any issues.
  8. Develop and maintain thorough documentation of hardware designs and processes.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in photonics technology to inform hardware development decisions.
  10. Train and mentor junior engineers on photonics engineering principles and techniques.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical support to other teams within the company.
  12. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline hardware development and increase efficiency.
  13. Maintain a proactive and problem-solving mindset to overcome challenges and drive innovation.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Photonics Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In The Development Of Co-Packaged Photonics Hardware.

  • Strong Understanding Of Advanced Photonics Technologies, Such As Silicon Photonics And Plasmonics.

  • Proficiency In Design And Simulation Software, Such As Lumerical And Comsol.

  • Experience With High-Speed Optical Communication Systems And Networking Protocols.
