  1. Lead the development of CAD/EDA tools and methodologies for advanced microprocessor designs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and implement solutions.
  3. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CAD/EDA technology.
  4. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  5. Train and mentor team members on CAD/EDA tools and methodologies.
  6. Conduct regular design reviews to ensure design integrity and accuracy.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any CAD/EDA related issues.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation for CAD/EDA processes and procedures.
  9. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  10. Proactively communicate project updates and potential roadblocks to relevant stakeholders.
  11. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards for CAD/EDA designs.
  12. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate new CAD/EDA tools.
  13. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance CAD/EDA design capabilities.
  14. Stay organized and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert for CAD/EDA tools and methodologies within the company.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Cad/Eda Design: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Cad/Eda Design, With A Strong Understanding Of Industry-Standard Tools And Methodologies.

  • Strong Technical Expertise: The Cad/Eda Design Lead Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Design Flow And Should Be Proficient In Various Tools Such As Cadence, Synopsys, And Mentor Graphics.

  • Leadership Skills: As A Design Lead, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills To Manage And Mentor A Team Of Designers. They Should Also Have Experience In Project Management, Resource Allocation, And Scheduling.

  • Knowledge Of Advanced Design Concepts: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Advanced Design Concepts Such As Low-Power Design, High-Speed Design, And Timing Closure. They Should Also Be Well-Versed In The Latest Technologies And Methodologies In The Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Cad/Eda Design Lead Will Be Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Hardware And Software Engineers. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential To Ensure Seamless Coordination And Successful Project Delivery.
