- Develop and implement physical design methodologies for advanced semiconductor products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and create solutions that meet performance, power, and area targets.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and techniques to perform physical design tasks such as floorplanning, placement, and routing.
- Conduct physical design verification and sign-off, ensuring design meets timing, power, and reliability specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues related to physical design and work closely with design and verification teams to address any issues that arise.
- Continuously research and implement new physical design techniques to improve product performance and efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in physical design and contribute to the development of new methodologies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior physical design engineers.
- Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to evaluate new tools and methodologies for physical design.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality physical design work within set deadlines.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to physical design and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Contribute to the development of design guidelines and best practices for physical design.
- Actively participate in team meetings and provide updates and insights on project progress.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Asic Physical Design.
Proficiency In Industry-Standard Eda Tools, Such As Cadence Or Synopsys.
Strong Understanding Of Physical Design Methodologies, Including Floorplanning, Placement, Routing, And Timing Closure.
Experience With Advanced Process Nodes, Such As 7Nm Or Below, And Knowledge Of Drc, Lvs, And Other Verification Techniques.
