  1. Develop and optimize GPU models to drive the creation of high-performance graphics cards.
  2. Utilize computer architecture knowledge to design efficient and innovative GPU solutions.
  3. Apply modeling techniques to accurately simulate and predict GPU performance.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address design challenges.
  5. Continuously monitor and analyze GPU performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Stay updated on the latest advancements in GPU technology and incorporate them into the design process.
  7. Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members and other departments.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to GPU modeling and performance.
  9. Ensure all designs meet performance, power, and area requirements.
  10. Document and present modeling methodologies, results and recommendations to management.
  11. Conduct performance and compatibility testing on GPU models.
  12. Participate in the development of new modeling tools and techniques to enhance the design process.
  13. Continuously evaluate and optimize GPU models to meet or exceed industry standards.
  14. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to enhance GPU modeling capabilities.
  15. Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality results within given deadlines.
  16. Maintain a deep understanding of AMD's product portfolio and market trends to inform modeling decisions.
  17. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of GPU modeling.
  18. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Gpu Architecture And Design: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Gpu Architecture And Design Principles, With A Proven Track Record Of Developing High-Performance Gpus.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Tools: A Strong Background In Programming Languages Such As C++, Cuda, And Opencl Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Be Well-Versed In Gpu Simulation And Modeling Tools.

  • Knowledge Of Graphics Apis And Standards: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Graphics Apis Such As Directx And Opengl, As Well As Industry Standards For Gpu Performance And Efficiency.

  • Strong Mathematical And Analytical Skills: As A Gpu Modeling Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Required To Analyze Complex Data And Develop Mathematical Models To Optimize Gpu Performance. Therefore, Strong Mathematical And Analytical Skills Are A Must.

  • Experience In Parallel Computing: With Gpus Being Highly Parallel, The Candidate Should Have Experience In Parallel Computing Techniques And Optimization Strategies To Fully Leverage The Power Of Gpus. Familiarity With Multi-Threading And Multi-Core Architectures Is Also Desirable.
