RN - Emergency Services

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Services team at Ambercare! The ideal candidate will possess exceptional medical knowledge, top-notch organizational skills, and an unwavering commitment to providing our patients with the highest standard of care. In addition to the standard qualifications required of all RNs, the successful candidate should possess a minimum of two years of experience in an emergency room setting. Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct nursing care to emergency room patients in accordance with established protocols and standards of care.
2. Assess patient condition, order and interpret lab tests, and initiate appropriate interventions.
3. Respond to life-threatening situations in a calm and professional manner.
4. Manage patient care plans, including medication administration and follow-up care.
5. Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and self-care.
6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
8. Participate in training and continuing education activities as required.
9. Monitor and document patient progress, and report any changes to the physician.
10. Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
