We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Mental Health Associate to join our team at Ambercare. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our clients’ lives while helping them achieve their mental health goals. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in the mental health field, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should have a strong understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatments, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families. You should also have excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple clients and tasks at once. Previous experience working with individuals with mental health issues and/or substance abuse is a plus. Responsibilities:
• Provide mental health services to clients, including diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients in accordance with their goals • Build strong relationships with clients and their families, and provide support and guidance to them • Monitor clients’ progress and provide feedback to the team • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper care and treatment of clients • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes in the client’s medical records • Participate in regular team meetings and provide input on client progress • Attend trainings and workshops to stay up to date on current practices and treatments • Assist clients with daily activities and provide transportation if needed • Perform crisis intervention when necessary • Provide education and resources to clients and their families on topics related to mental health and substance abuse
