
Associate Infection Preventionist
We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to join our team as an Associate Infection Preventionist at Ambercare. This is a full-time role based in our Phoenix, Arizona office. The Associate Infection Preventionist will be responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the organization's infection prevention and control programs. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and delivering an outstanding patient experience. The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, along with five or more years of experience in healthcare quality improvement or infection prevention, and a Certified Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) certification. Previous experience in leading infection prevention programs and knowledge of regulatory requirements are essential. Responsibilities of the Associate Infection Preventionist:
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the organization's infection prevention and control programs.
- Ensure that the organization's infection prevention and control practices meet all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor and analyze infection prevention and control data and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop policies and procedures related to infection prevention and control.
- Educate staff on infection prevention and control best practices.
- Maintain records and documentation related to infection prevention and control.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and address potential infection issues.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of infection prevention and control measures.
- Participate in research studies and clinical trials related to infection prevention and control.
- Provide guidance and direction to other healthcare professionals on infection prevention and control issues.
