- Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of hardware components and systems to identify potential failure points and improve overall reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and validate new hardware products
- Identify and resolve issues related to product reliability, working closely with suppliers and manufacturers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in hardware engineering to continuously improve our reliability processes and methodologies
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on reliability metrics and any potential risks or issues
- Lead root cause analysis investigations and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior reliability engineers on best practices and techniques
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on potential reliability concerns and solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation of all reliability testing and analysis results
- Identify and implement cost-effective solutions to improve overall product reliability without compromising quality or performance.
Extensive Experience In Reliability Engineering: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Hardware Reliability Engineering, With A Proven Track Record Of Designing And Implementing Reliability Testing Methodologies.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Best Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Best Practices Related To Hardware Reliability, Such As Ieee, Mil-Std, And Iec Standards.
Proficiency In Statistical Analysis: Strong Statistical Analysis Skills Are A Must For A Senior Hardware Reliability Engineer At Amazon. The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Tools Like Jmp Or Minitab And Have Experience In Analyzing Large Datasets To Identify Failure Trends And Patterns.
