Risk Manager
We are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Manager. As Amazon is continuously developing new transportation solutions, this global role will work with business leaders to maximize success through customizable risk management techniques.The successful candidate will propose innovative approaches and risk mitigation strategies throughout the business life-cycle. In this highly visible role, you will work closely with the legal, business, product, and engineering teams on effective risk mitigation countermeasures to ensure continued safety and compliance for Amazon and our transportation partners. Implement the risk assessment framework for Amazon transportation programs and influence the product landscape for audit and controls. Perform risk assessments of Amazon transportation programs. Anticipate challenges/obstacles the transportation business would encounter while expanding geographies.
6+ years of experience in risk management, such as: identifying risk in key processes, compliance with regulatory requirements
5+ years of experience professionally interacting regularly and directly with senior executives.
Self-starter who can develop strategic direction, plan effective tactics, and deliver specific results
Fundamental understanding of regulatory requirements, industry frameworks and expectations related to operational risk management.
