
NPI Readiness Manager - Reverse Logistics

- Lead the NPI (New Product Introduction) readiness process for the Reverse Logistics team at Amazon, ensuring that all new products are successfully launched and integrated into the reverse logistics process.
- Manage the end-to-end reverse logistics process for new products, including return and repair procedures, inventory management, and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient integration of new products into the reverse logistics process.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines for NPI readiness, taking into account key milestones and dependencies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the successful launch of new products, proactively communicating any concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the reverse logistics process and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular updates to management on NPI readiness progress, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Train and mentor team members on NPI readiness processes and procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to support new product launches and maintain high levels of operational excellence.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management, and use this knowledge to drive innovation and efficiency within the reverse logistics team.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing performance to ensure timely and cost-effective reverse logistics processes.
Experience In Reverse Logistics: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing Reverse Logistics Operations, Preferably In A Fast-Paced E-Commerce Or Retail Environment. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Reverse Logistics Processes, Including Returns Management, Refurbishment, And Disposal.
Strong Project Management Skills: The Npi Readiness Manager Will Be Responsible For Leading Cross-Functional Teams To Implement New Reverse Logistics Initiatives. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Plan, Execute, And Monitor Projects Within Strict Timelines And Budgets.
Knowledge Of Npi Processes: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of New Product Introduction (Npi) Processes, Including Product Development, Manufacturing, And Launch.
