Lead UX Designer, AWS
In this role you will lead design initiatives within our growing IoT-Analytics team. You will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team. Lead the design of useful, usable, accessible and desirable open source products in a team environment. Work closely with stakeholders and leadership in design planning and goal creation. Create design patterns, guidelines and design standardization across all of the team's products. Incorporate customer feedback, technical constraints, and usability findings into design. Perform metrics analysis post-launch to inform design/UX optimization efforts. Understand customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research and feedback. Lead design team members in creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.
6+ years of design experience
Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate a bias for action in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.
8+ years of experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar.
An online portfolio demonstrating samples of design deliverables (personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes)
A background in IoT, smart devices, consoles software development, cloud-based services, or equivalent industry experience
