  1. Develop and implement environmental programs in alignment with Amazon's sustainability goals.
  2. Conduct research and gather data to identify areas for improvement and potential environmental risks.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure environmental programs are integrated into all aspects of Amazon's operations.
  4. Monitor and track progress of environmental initiatives and report on key metrics to senior management.
  5. Stay up-to-date on environmental regulations and industry best practices, and make recommendations for compliance and improvement.
  6. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and suppliers, to support environmental initiatives.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for environmental programs and initiatives.
  8. Communicate with all levels of the organization to drive awareness and engagement in environmental initiatives.
  9. Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in environmental practices.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of environmental specialists to ensure effective execution of programs.
  11. Develop and maintain partnerships with external organizations to support Amazon's environmental goals.
  12. Represent Amazon in industry events and conferences to share our environmental efforts and learn from others.
  13. Identify and manage potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  14. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure environmental considerations are included in product development and design.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve environmental performance and report on progress to stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Sustainability, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Environmental Management Or Sustainability, Preferably In A Corporate Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Environmental Regulations And Industry Best Practices.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills With The Ability To Effectively Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Sustainable Initiatives, Such As Waste Reduction Programs Or Renewable Energy Projects.
