Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Scientist to join our 3PX (Third Party Experience) team and drive insights and analytics to inform our business decisions. As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in helping us understand our customers and their behaviors, ultimately shaping our product offerings and strategies.   1. Utilize data analysis techniques to identify patterns and trends in customer behavior.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from various sources to inform business decisions.
  3. Develop and maintain predictive models and algorithms to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
  4. Conduct thorough and timely analysis of large datasets to identify key insights and make actionable recommendations.
  5. Communicate complex data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  6. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation within the data analysis process.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques to continuously improve and innovate our processes.
  8. Develop and maintain data visualization tools and dashboards to track and report on key metrics and KPIs.
  9. Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy and integrity in our analysis.
  10. Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and provide recommendations for strategic business initiatives.
  11. Mentor and guide junior data analysts/scientists within the team.
  12. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the overall data strategy for the 3PX team.
  13. Adhere to data privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Data Analysis And Statistical Modeling Techniques: A Data Scientist At Amazon Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Data Analysis Methods Such As Regression Analysis, Machine Learning, And Predictive Modeling. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Analyze Large And Complex Data Sets To Derive Meaningful Insights.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Data Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql. They Should Also Be Familiar With Data Visualization Tools Like Tableau And Data Querying Tools Like Aws Athena. This Will Allow Them To Efficiently Manipulate And Analyze Data From Various Sources.

  • Experience With 3Px And E-Commerce Analytics: As A Data Scientist At Amazon, Experience In 3Px (Third-Party Marketplace) And E-Commerce Analytics Is Crucial. This Involves Analyzing Customer Behavior, Sales Trends, And Market Trends To Identify Opportunities For Growth And Optimization.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: In Addition To Technical Skills, A Data Scientist At Amazon Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills. They Will Be Working With Cross-Functional Teams And Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Data Insights To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Attention To Detail And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Amazon Is A Fast-Paced And Data-Driven Company, So The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Work Under Pressure And Deliver Accurate Results In A Timely Manner.
