
Corporate Counsel, AWS Sales and Marketing
Join the Amazon Legal team as a Corporate Counsel for AWS Sales and Marketing! - Provide legal counsel and support to the AWS Sales and Marketing teams on a wide range of legal matters, including but not limited to contracts, advertising and marketing, intellectual property, data privacy, and compliance.
- Analyze and advise on legal risks related to sales and marketing strategies, initiatives, and campaigns.
- Communicate complex legal concepts and requirements to non-legal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including sales agreements, marketing agreements, and partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks for the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures related to sales and marketing activities.
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance on a variety of legal issues impacting the AWS business.
- Provide legal support for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
- Manage outside counsel and other legal advisors as needed.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as a legal representative.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the legal team and across departments.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Represent the company in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Corporate Counsel, Preferably In The Technology Or Software Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Sales And Marketing Laws And Regulations, Both Domestically And Internationally.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Collaborate With Business Teams.
Experience With Cloud Computing And/Or Aws Services Is Highly Preferred.
