Job Description

As the Category Manager, Sustainability you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that help us to reduce Amazon’s scope 3 carbon, supply chain emissions. This role will need to work cross-functionally with many different stakeholders to integrate sustainable concepts and metrics into existing and new procurement categories. This opportunity requires an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and project management skills as well as the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, technical environment. Projects may involve carbon accounting, supplier assessments, negotiating for sustainability criteria in supplier contracts, reducing embodied carbon, energy efficiency, and more.
