Job Description

As a Capture Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS) focusing on the US State/Local government (SLG) market, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of Amazon’s utility computing web services (Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS and other AWS services). Executes strategies and tactics to deliver a qualified pipeline of opportunities with pursuit/win plans for each. Build and manage a pipeline of multiple “pre rfp and rfp” opportunities and develop/drive the pursuit plan for each. Develop win strategies, cloud friendly procurement approaches, technical discriminators, and innovative strategies working with AWS stakeholders and partners specific to each opportunity. Lead the negotiations of direct contracts to include Enterprise Agreements, BAA, NDAs, etc. Proven experience managing a portfolio of engagements with timelines varying from weeks to multiple years and numerous milestones. Experience translating capture strategy into proposal win themes during the proposal stage.
