In this role, you will be responsible for managing our bug bounty program, ensuring the security of our systems, and fostering a culture of security within the organization.   1. Develop and manage the bug bounty program for AWS, including setting policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  2. Monitor and triage incoming bug reports, working closely with the security team to prioritize and address vulnerabilities.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of reported bugs and follow-up with researchers.
  4. Conduct regular assessments of AWS systems and services to identify potential vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities related to AWS services and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
  6. Train and educate team members on security best practices and promote a culture of security within the organization.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with security researchers, promoting the bug bounty program and encouraging responsible disclosure.
  8. Communicate with stakeholders, including upper management, on the status of the bug bounty program and any significant findings or improvements.
  9. Analyze and report on the effectiveness of the bug bounty program, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for enhancements.
  10. Participate in security incident response and assist in the investigation and remediation of security incidents related to the bug bounty program.
  11. Continuously review and improve processes and procedures to ensure the bug bounty program is efficient and effective.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on AWS security and provide guidance and support to other teams within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge And Experience With Aws Security: A Bug Bounty Manager At Amazon Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Aws Security And Be Able To Identify Vulnerabilities And Recommend Solutions To Secure Aws Environments.

  • Experience Managing Bug Bounty Programs: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Managing Bug Bounty Programs, Including Setting Up Program Guidelines, Triaging And Validating Reported Vulnerabilities, And Working With Internal Teams To Remediate Issues.

  • Understanding Of Security Best Practices: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Security Best Practices And Industry Standards, Such As Owasp Top 10, To Effectively Assess The Risk Of Reported Vulnerabilities And Prioritize Remediation Efforts.

  • Attention To Detail And Analytical Thinking: A Bug Bounty Manager Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Think Critically And Analytically To Identify Potential Security Risks And Recommend Appropriate Solutions. Attention To Detail Is Crucial In Managing A Bug Bounty Program And Ensuring All Reported Vulnerabilities Are Properly Addressed.
