  1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize our supply chain operations and reduce costs.
  2. Conduct market analysis and identify potential suppliers to ensure best value and quality for Ally Financial.
  3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, evaluate supplier performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  5. Monitor and track supplier performance metrics, utilizing data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and proactively identify new sourcing opportunities.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
  8. Lead supplier selection and evaluation processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  9. Utilize data and analytics to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.
  10. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on sourcing initiatives and strategies.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert on sourcing and procurement best practices, providing guidance and support to junior team members.
  12. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier contracts and agreements.
  13. Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain function, proactively seeking ways to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
  14. Act as a brand ambassador for Ally Financial, embodying our mission and values in all interactions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  15. Take ownership of special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills And Experience With Data Analysis And Reporting Tools.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Sourcing Or Procurement, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Negotiating And Managing Contracts With Suppliers.

  • Knowledge Of Supply Chain Best Practices And Industry Trends, As Well As Experience Implementing Process Improvements And Cost-Saving Initiatives.
