  1. Design and develop high-quality Java applications for Ally Financial.
  2. Collaborate with a team of developers to design and implement complex software solutions.
  3. Utilize your expertise in Java development to create scalable and efficient code.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Java development.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug any issues with existing applications.
  6. Continuously improve and optimize application performance.
  7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  8. Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  9. Mentor and guide junior team members to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
  10. Proactively identify and propose solutions for potential roadblocks or challenges.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  12. Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders and management.
  13. Follow best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
  14. Participate in agile ceremonies, such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  15. Take ownership of assigned tasks and see them through to completion.
  16. Continuously learn and improve technical skills to stay ahead in the constantly evolving technology landscape.
  17. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security and compliance standards.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Java Development Experience: A Senior Full Stack Java Engineer At Ally Financial Should Possess A Deep Understanding And Experience In Java Programming Language, Including Core Java, Object-Oriented Design Principles, And Java-Based Frameworks Such As Spring And Hibernate.

  • Full Stack Development Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding And Experience In Both Front-End And Back-End Development Technologies, Including Html, Css, Javascript, React, Angular, And Node.js. They Should Also Have Experience In Working With Databases And Writing Sql Queries.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Full Stack Java Engineer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Designing And Developing Complex Solutions For Business Problems. Therefore, They Should Have Exceptional Problem-Solving Skills And The Ability To Think Critically To Come Up With Creative Solutions.

  • Agile Methodology Experience: Ally Financial Follows An Agile Development Methodology, And The Candidate Should Have Experience Working In An Agile Environment. They Should Be Familiar With Agile Principles And Practices, Such As Scrum, Kanban, And Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Ci/Cd).

  • Leadership And Teamwork Abilities: A Senior Full Stack Java Engineer At Ally Financial Should Have Strong Leadership Skills To Guide And Mentor Junior Team Members. They Should Also Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Product Owners, Designers, And Other Engineers, To Deliver High-Quality Solutions.
