Job Description

In this role, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing potential risks within our organization and implementing effective strategies to mitigate them.   1. Conduct thorough and comprehensive audits of company operations to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
  2. Analyze financial data and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  3. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  4. Prepare and present audit reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices in risk management to ensure the company's practices are compliant and effective.
  6. Develop and implement risk management strategies and processes to proactively address potential risks.
  7. Collaborate with other members of the Risk Management team to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to risk management.
  8. Conduct special investigations and ad-hoc projects as needed to address emerging risks and issues.
  9. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  10. Communicate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed to facilitate audits and ensure compliance.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit findings and recommendations.
  12. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Auditing: A Senior Auditor At Ally Financial Should Possess A Strong Background In Auditing, Preferably With Experience At A Financial Institution. This Experience Should Include Conducting Audits, Identifying Risks, And Providing Recommendations For Improvement.

  • Risk Management Knowledge: A Senior Auditor Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Risk Management Principles And Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Risk Assessment Methodologies, Identification Of Potential Risks, And Implementation Of Risk Mitigation Strategies.

  • Regulatory Compliance Expertise: Ally Financial Is Subject To A Variety Of Regulatory Requirements, And A Senior Auditor Should Have A Strong Knowledge Of These Regulations. This Includes Understanding Of The Laws, Regulations, And Guidelines Governing The Financial Industry.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Senior Auditor Should Have Excellent Analytical Skills, Including The Ability To Identify Trends, Patterns, And Anomalies In Data. This Is Crucial For Identifying Potential Risks And Developing Effective Risk Management Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork: As A Senior Member Of The Audit Team, Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential. The Senior Auditor Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Audit Findings And Recommendations To Management, As Well As Collaborate With Team Members To Complete Audits Efficiently And Effectively.
