- Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect sensitive information.
- Evaluate and monitor information security controls to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to enhance the organization's overall information protection framework.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to risk management and information security.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas of potential improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management initiatives and ensure information security controls are in place.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and potential areas of concern.
- Communicate complex concepts and technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on risk management and information security best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert on risk management and information security matters, providing guidance and support to the organization.
- Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities and proactively implement measures to mitigate risks.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management strategies and controls.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure the security of data shared with third parties.

- Continuously assess and improve the organization's risk management processes and procedures.
Extensive Experience In Risk Management: A Strong Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Risk Management, With A Focus On Information Protection. This Includes Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices, Regulations, And Frameworks Such As Iso 27001 And Nist.
Strong Understanding Of Information Security: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Information Security Principles And Practices, Including Data Classification, Access Controls, Data Encryption, And Incident Response. They Should Also Have Experience With Risk Assessments And Vulnerability Management.
Knowledge Of Financial Industry Regulations: Ally Financial Is A Financial Institution, So A Strong Candidate For This Role Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Regulations Such As Glba, Sarbanes-Oxley, And Pci-Dss. They Should Also Be Familiar With Regulatory Reporting Requirements And Have Experience With Regulatory Audits.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Senior Analyst Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Mitigating Potential Risks To Ally Financial's Information Assets. This Requires Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Think Critically And Make Sound Decisions Under Pressure.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Will Involve Working Closely With Various Teams Within The Organization, As Well As External Partners And Vendors.
