  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Mentor and guide junior analysts to promote professional development and ensure consistent quality of work.
  8. Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory requirements and comply with company policies and procedures.
  11. Participate in project teams to support the development and launch of new financial products.
  12. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on actuarial analysis and findings.
  13. Collaborate with underwriters to evaluate and manage risk exposure.
  14. Continuously assess and improve actuarial methodologies and processes.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on actuarial matters to other departments within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science Or A Related Field: A Senior Actuarial Analyst At Ally Financial Should Possess A Strong Educational Foundation In The Field Of Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or Finance To Effectively Analyze And Interpret Complex Data.

  • Professional Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Hold A Professional Certification Such As Associate Of The Society Of Actuaries (Asa) Or Fellow Of The Society Of Actuaries (Fsa) To Demonstrate Their Proficiency In Actuarial Principles And Practices.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Relevant Experience: To Be Considered For A Senior Actuarial Analyst Role At Ally Financial, Candidates Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In The Actuarial Field, With A Focus On Financial Risk Management And Insurance Products.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Senior Actuarial Analyst Should Possess Advanced Analytical Skills To Effectively Analyze And Interpret Complex Data Sets, As Well As The Ability To Think Critically And Solve Complex Problems.
