  1. Develop and implement a robust model validation framework to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of financial models used within the company.
  2. Lead a team of model validation analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and results.
  3. Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of financial models, identifying potential weaknesses and areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, finance, and IT, to ensure alignment and compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  5. Communicate effectively with senior leadership to provide updates on model validation activities and recommendations for improvement.
  6. Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to financial modeling, and proactively make recommendations for enhancements to the model validation process.
  7. Develop and maintain documentation of model validation procedures, results, and findings for reporting and audit purposes.
  8. Conduct ongoing monitoring and testing of existing models to identify any potential issues or changes needed.
  9. Participate in the development and implementation of new financial models, providing expertise and guidance on validation requirements.
  10. Continuously assess and improve the model validation process to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Mathematical And Analytical Skills: The Manager Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Statistical Modeling And Financial Analysis Techniques To Effectively Validate Models.

  • Experience In Model Validation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Model Validation, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Manager Must Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Regulatory Guidelines And Requirements Related To Model Validation, Such As Sr 11-7 And Sr 16-11.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Manager, The Candidate Should Have Strong Leadership Abilities And The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Model Validators.
