- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with large dealer groups to drive sales growth and achieve financial goals.
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure a seamless and effective sales process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within the large dealer groups.
- Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of our products and services.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide strategic insights.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and expand our network.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline sales operations and increase efficiency.
- Hire, train, and develop new sales team members to ensure a high-performing and motivated team.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Ally Financial, upholding our values and promoting a positive company culture.
- Travel as needed to meet with clients and attend meetings and events.
Extensive Sales Experience: A Successful Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Automotive Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Exceeding Sales Targets And Managing Large Dealer Groups.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Motivating A Team Of Sales Professionals. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Set Clear Goals, Provide Guidance And Support, And Foster A Positive Team Culture.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role, As The Manager Will Be Interacting With Both Internal And External Stakeholders On A Daily Basis. They Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Confidently, Both Verbally And In Writing, To Build And Maintain Strong Relationships.
Business Acumen: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Solid Understanding Of The Automotive Industry, As Well As The Financial Services Sector. They Should Have A Thorough Knowledge Of Market Trends, Competitive Landscape, And Customer Needs To Develop Effective Sales Strategies And Drive Business Growth.
