- Conduct thorough analysis of insurance risks associated with Ally Financial's products, including but not limited to auto, home, and life insurance.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Utilize advanced mathematical and statistical techniques to evaluate and improve the accuracy of insurance risk models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities for improvement in product design and pricing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the insurance market to inform risk management strategies.
- Analyze data and generate reports to communicate risk assessment and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with underwriting and claims teams to evaluate and assess risk exposure and make recommendations for risk transfer or mitigation.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of internal policies and procedures related to insurance risk management.
- Support the development and maintenance of actuarial models and tools to aid in risk analysis and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous learning and improvement within the team by sharing knowledge, best practices, and participating in training opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.
At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Actuarial Analysis, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Insurance Risk Management Principles And Practices.
Proficiency In Actuarial Software And Programming Languages Such As Sas, R, Or Python.
Professional Certifications Such As Associate Or Fellow Of The Society Of Actuaries (Asa/Fsa) Or Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (Cera) Are Preferred.
