  1. Handle UM/UIM represented and litigation claims: The primary responsibility of this role is to handle complex claims related to UM/UIM representation and litigation. This includes investigating, evaluating, and settling these claims in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Conduct thorough investigations: The individual in this role will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into the claims, gathering all necessary information and evidence, and determining the appropriate course of action.
  3. Analyze claims: This position requires the ability to analyze and evaluate claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
  4. Communicate effectively: The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively communicating with all parties involved in the claim, including customers, attorneys, and other insurance companies.
  5. Manage a high volume of claims: This role requires the ability to handle a large volume of claims while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  6. Negotiate settlements: The adjuster will be responsible for negotiating settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other insurance companies to reach a fair and equitable resolution.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry developments: The individual in this role should stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide the best service to customers.
  8. Adhere to company policies and procedures: It is the responsibility of the adjuster to follow all company policies and procedures and maintain ethical and professional standards at all times.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service: The successful candidate will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to all parties involved in the claims process, including providing timely updates and addressing any concerns or questions.
  10. Collaborate with team members: This role requires the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure the timely and accurate handling of claims.
  11. Maintain accurate records: The individual in this role must maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and activities related to the claims process.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Business, Finance, Or Insurance.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Handling Um/Uim Claims In A Litigation Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Insurance Laws And Regulations, Particularly Pertaining To Um/Uim Coverage.

  • Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Resolve Complex Claims.

  • Proficiency In Legal And Technical Aspects Of Um/Uim Claims, Including Knowledge Of Court Procedures And Legal Terminology.
