- Utilize specialized tools and techniques to analyze data and identify patterns or anomalies that may indicate fraud.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather additional information and evidence to support or refute potential fraud cases.
- Collaborate with other members of the SIU team to investigate and document potential fraud cases.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommend appropriate actions for potential fraud cases.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to fraud detection and prevention.
- Assist in developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all investigations and findings.
- Participate in training and education initiatives for employees on fraud awareness and prevention.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings related to fraud cases, if needed.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate processes and procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of fraud detection and prevention efforts.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies related to fraud detection and prevention.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field, Such As Finance, Accounting, Or Criminal Justice.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Insurance Claims Investigation, Preferably With A Focus On Fraud Detection.
Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Identify Patterns And Discrepancies In Data.
Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Insurance Fraud And Investigations.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Findings Effectively.
