- Investigating bodily injury claims: Conduct thorough investigations of claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
- Evaluating claims: Review medical records, police reports, and other relevant information to evaluate the extent of injuries and determine appropriate settlement amounts.
- Settling claims: Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties within the parameters of company policies and procedures.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures: Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with established guidelines and procedures to maintain consistency and quality of service.
- Providing exceptional customer service: Build and maintain strong relationships with claimants, agents, and other stakeholders by providing prompt and empathetic communication throughout the claims process.
- Maintaining accurate records: Document all activities, conversations, and decisions related to the claims process in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborating with team members: Work closely with other team members, including claims specialists, attorneys, and medical professionals, to gather information and make informed decisions.
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends: Keep abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends related to bodily injury claims to ensure compliance and effectiveness in handling claims.
- Prioritizing workload: Manage a high volume of claims and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and provide efficient and effective service.
- Upholding ethical standards: Conduct all work with integrity, honesty, and professionalism, adhering to ethical standards set by the company and industry.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Insurance, Business, Or Finance.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Bodily Injury Claims Handling In The State Of Florida.
Strong Knowledge Of Florida Insurance Laws And Regulations.
Proven Ability To Manage A High Volume Of Complex Bodily Injury Claims Efficiently And Accurately.
