Job Description

Allstate is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal Specialist to join our team and support our legal department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our attorneys with a variety of tasks, including legal research, document preparation, and case management. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, organized, and able to work independently. If you have a strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures and a desire to contribute to a leading insurance company, we want to hear from you!

  1. Conduct legal research and prepare summaries to assist attorneys in case preparation.
  2. Prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs, accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Assist attorneys in case management by organizing and maintaining case files and calendars.
  4. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.
  5. Utilize electronic filing systems and document management software to track and organize legal documents.
  6. Ensure all deadlines are met and documents are filed in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to ethical and professional standards.
  8. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company and its legal proceedings.
  9. Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
  10. Provide administrative support to attorneys, such as scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.

Job Qualifications
