Conduct thorough investigations of large and complex property insurance claims.
Utilize field estimating techniques to accurately assess property damages and determine coverage.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all claim handling.
Ensure timely and efficient resolution of claims, adhering to company and industry standards.
Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders throughout the claims process.
Negotiate and settle claims within designated authority and in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
Review and interpret policy language to determine coverage and liability.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors to gather necessary information and documentation.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in property insurance policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with policyholders and agents.
Maintain accurate and organized claim files and documentation.
Adhere to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Meet or exceed performance goals and metrics set by the company.
Actively participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Represent the company and act as a brand ambassador in a professional and ethical manner.

Job Qualifications

Strong Knowledge Of Property Claims: A Large Loss Property Adjuster - Field Estimating Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Property Insurance Policies And Experience Handling Large Loss Claims. They Should Be Able To Accurately Assess The Extent Of Damage And Determine Appropriate Coverage For The Policyholder.
Excellent Communication Skills: Effective Communication Is Crucial In This Role, As The Large Loss Property Adjuster Will Be Interacting With Policyholders, Contractors, And Other Insurance Professionals On A Daily Basis. They Should Be Able To Clearly Explain Complex Information And Negotiate Settlements With All Parties Involved.
Experience With Field Estimating: Allstate Requires Candidates For This Position To Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Field Estimating, Preferably In The Property Insurance Industry. This Includes Experience With Estimating Software, Conducting Property Inspections, And Creating Detailed Damage Reports.
Attention To Detail: Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Essential Qualities For A Large Loss Property Adjuster - Field Estimating. They Must Be Able To Review And Analyze Large Amounts Of Data, Identify Discrepancies, And Make Accurate Calculations To Determine The Appropriate Claim Amount.
Ability To Work Independently: Allstate Is Looking For A Self-Motivated And Independent Candidate Who Can Manage A Large Caseload And Work Efficiently Without Direct Supervision. The Large Loss Property Adjuster Will Be Responsible For Handling Complex And High-Value Claims, Often With Tight Deadlines, So They Must Be Able To Prioritize Tasks And Make Decisions Independently.
