The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, geography, or a related field, as well as experience with geospatial software and analytics tools. They should have exceptional problem-solving skills, strong communication and organization abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Furthermore, they should bring a collaborative and creative mindset to the table, and apply an inquisitive attitude when working with data. Responsibilities:
- Perform geospatial analysis, data science, and analytics to uncover insights from data.
- Utilize geospatial software and analytics tools to develop data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain innovative data products.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and develop new approaches to data analysis.
- Monitor existing data solutions for accuracy and completeness.
- Design and implement data models for data-driven decision making.
- Develop and implement strategies for data acquisition, management, and storage.
- Provide technical support for geospatial data science initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful data products.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices for geospatial data science.
