Conduct thorough and accurate appraisals of vehicle damages for insurance claims in Nassau County.
Utilize knowledge and expertise in the automobile industry to assess the extent of damages and determine the cost of repairs.
Communicate effectively with customers and other parties involved in the claims process to gather necessary information and explain appraisal findings.
Complete detailed reports and documentation for each appraisal, including photographs and estimates.
Work closely with repair shops and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs for customers.
Stay up-to-date on industry standards and changes in technology and techniques related to vehicle appraisals.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, in appraising and processing claims.
Collaborate with other members of the claims team to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Continuously strive to improve appraisal processes and contribute ideas for enhancing customer satisfaction and efficiency.
Represent the company in a positive manner and uphold its reputation for excellence in the insurance industry.
Travel to different locations within Nassau County as needed to conduct appraisals.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Auto Appraising, Preferably In The Nassau County Area.
Knowledge Of Automotive Industry Trends, Repair Techniques, And Vehicle Valuation Methods.
Strong Understanding Of Insurance Policies And Coverage, Including Liability And Collision.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Interact With Customers, Repair Shops, And Insurance Agents.
Proficiency In Using Computer Software And Technology For Appraising, Estimating, And Managing Claims.
