  1. Provide strategic legal guidance: Develop and implement strategies for managing employment litigation matters in a way that mitigates risk for the company.
  2. Manage employment litigation matters: Oversee all aspects of employment-related legal cases, including developing case strategies, managing budgets, and coordinating with internal and external legal teams.
  3. Stay up-to-date on employment laws: Maintain a strong understanding of current and emerging employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance and inform decision-making.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Work closely with HR, management, and other departments to address and resolve employment-related legal issues.
  5. Conduct legal research: Conduct legal research and analysis to support the company's defense in employment litigation matters.
  6. Develop policies and procedures: Develop and update company policies and procedures related to employment law to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risk.
  7. Train and educate employees: Provide training and resources to employees on employment laws and regulations to promote compliance and minimize the risk of legal disputes.
  8. Handle complex legal matters: Manage complex and high-profile employment litigation matters with a focus on achieving successful outcomes for the company.
  9. Lead and supervise legal team: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of attorneys and legal professionals working on employment litigation matters.
  10. Represent the company in court: Serve as the primary legal representative for the company in all employment-related litigation matters, including court appearances and negotiations.
  11. Proactively identify potential legal risks: Anticipate potential legal risks and provide recommendations to mitigate these risks before they escalate into litigation.
  12. Maintain confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive legal matters and information related to employment litigation.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment: Promote a positive and collaborative work environment within the legal team and with other departments to achieve common goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Employment Litigation, Preferably With A Focus On Managing Complex Cases

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Case Management And Trial Experience

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage A Team Of Attorneys And Effectively Communicate With Internal And External Stakeholders
