- Conduct legal research and analysis on various commercial and technology-related matters.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to mitigate risk and support business objectives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology and privacy agreements.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to business teams on complex legal issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct due diligence on potential business partners and vendors.
- Assist in developing and maintaining company policies and procedures.
- Support the legal team in managing and resolving disputes and litigation.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
- Participate in and lead special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Allstate and uphold the company's values and reputation.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures within the legal department.
- Mentor and train junior legal team members as needed.
Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School With A Strong Academic Record.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Law In The Areas Of Technology, Privacy, And Emerging Business, Preferably In A Corporate Or In-House Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge And Understanding Of Technology And Privacy Laws, Regulations, And Best Practices, Including But Not Limited To Data Privacy And Security, Data Breach Response, And Emerging Technologies.
Strong Negotiation, Drafting, And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Advise And Counsel Internal Clients On Complex Legal Matters Related To Technology, Privacy, And Emerging Business.
Proven Ability To Effectively Manage Multiple Projects And Priorities In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment, While Maintaining A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
