- Safely transport patients to and from various locations within the healthcare facility.

- Maintain accurate records of patient transportation activities, including pick-up and drop-off times and any special instructions.

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating vehicles and assisting patients.

- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless coordination of patient transportation services.
- Attend and participate in trainings and meetings to stay updated on transportation policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to dress code, attendance, and punctuality.
- Continuously strive to enhance the patient experience and improve transportation services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the transportation supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Transport Aide At Allina Health System Should Have A Minimum Education Level Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Knowledge And Skills Required For The Job.
Previous Experience In Healthcare: Allina Health System Prefers Candidates With Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting. This Could Include Working As A Transport Aide In A Hospital, Nursing Home, Or Other Healthcare Facility.
Cpr And First Aid Certification: Since Transport Aides May Be Required To Respond To Medical Emergencies, Having Current Cpr And First Aid Certification Is Essential. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Trained To Provide Immediate Assistance In Case Of An Emergency.
