Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Surgical Support Aide to join our team and assist in the operating room. As a Surgical Support Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our surgical procedures.   1. Assist in the operating room by setting up equipment and supplies, preparing patients for surgery, and providing support to surgical team during procedures.
  2. Maintain a clean and organized surgical environment, including restocking supplies and disposing of waste.
  3. Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team.
  4. Prepare and transport patients to and from the operating room, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to provide exceptional care and address any concerns.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  8. Attend trainings and workshops to stay up-to-date on new procedures and technologies.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by surgical team or supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Surgical Support Aide Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Skills Necessary To Perform The Job Duties.
